Thoroughly Modern Millie” is a delightful glimpse into the 1920’s
and won multiple Tony awards including Best Musical in 2002.

The musical will be performed by the ever-talented
Truckee High School drama department three weekends in May.
“Thoroughly Modern Millie” is set early in the flapper era of the 1920s.


Millie Dillmount’s ambition is to find work as a stenographer for a
wealthy man and then marry her boss. In both intending to earn her own living and in intending to marry for money rather than love, she is “thoroughly modern”for the 1920s.
